“C'est ma tasse de thé” (this is my cup of tea) is a French expression often used to voice an appreciation for something. While the French may be best known for their Café’s (Coffee Shops), the act of drinking tea in France dates back to the 17th century as a regular drink of the court and of King Louis XIV (who was known for drinking copious amounts of tea). Some sources credit the French with being the first to add milk to tea (Thé au lait).

Like the French, Green Menu also has a great appreciation for tea which we present in the form of our very popular monthly TeaTime events where we serve drinks (tea, of course) paired with the delicate flavors of superbly made vegetarian/vegan foods and desserts.

Green Menu cordially invites you to our very first TeaTime of 2018. Please join us for our special “French Village” Teatime this March 17 (Saturday) from 3pm to 5pm. Please come and enjoy with us. We really think you will find it to be your cup of tea.
